The fine print
Cookies & Storage
Last updated: 2 June 2026
Derby Pokies keeps things simple. We use a small amount of your browser's storage to make the game work — and that's about it. We don't use advertising cookies or behavioural tracking.
What we store, and why
The information we keep on your device falls into a few small buckets:
- Age confirmation — so we don't have to ask whether you're 18 or over every single visit.
- Storage preference — remembering whether you chose “Accept all” or “Essential only” on our storage notice.
- Game progress — your virtual coin balance and free spins, so your run is still there when you come back.
- Display & sound settings — things like whether the music or sound effects are switched on.
What we don't do
- We don't use advertising or marketing cookies.
- We don't run third-party behavioural tracking.
- We don't store any payment details, because the site is free.
If we ever introduce analytics, we'll update this page and the storage notice before doing so.
Your choices
When you first visit, you'll see a storage notice with two options. “Essential only” and “Accept all” both let you play — the storage we use is the essential kind that makes the game function. Your choice is itself remembered so we don't keep asking.
How to clear your data
You're always in control. To remove everything Derby Pokies has stored on your device, clear the site data or cookies for this site in your browser settings. Here's the general path in most browsers:
- Open your browser's Settings.
- Find Privacy, Security or “Site settings”.
- Choose to clear browsing data or manage data for this site.
- Clearing it will reset your saved progress and preferences here.
